Terms of use

The short version: sell what you say you are selling, turn up when you say you will, and treat people the way you would if they were standing in front of you — because on a campus, they usually are.

Musika is an introduction, not a shop

We put buyers and sellers in touch. The deal is between the two of you. Musika never holds your money, never takes a cut, never ships anything and is not a party to what you agree.

That means we cannot refund you, and we cannot force anybody to turn up. Check what you are buying before you pay.

Using it

You need an account to sell, and you must be a real person with an accurate name. One account each.

Do not post anything you do not have, do not misrepresent what you are selling, and do not list anything illegal in Zimbabwe — including weapons, drugs, stolen goods, live animals, counterfeit items, or anyone else's copyrighted work. Alcohol and tobacco are not allowed either, even where selling them would be legal.

Do not use Musika to harass, threaten or defraud anybody.

Reviews

You may only review somebody you have actually dealt with, and the app enforces that. Reviews should describe what happened. Do not trade reviews, buy them, or leave one to settle a score.

If you break these

We may remove a listing or suspend an account. Reports are read by a person, and where there is doubt we look at the listing before acting. Suspension is reversible — email us.

Meeting people

Meet in a public place on campus, in daylight, and tell somebody where you are going. Musika cannot vet the people you meet and does not pretend to. Reviews and reports exist so the market polices itself; use both.

Our side of it

Musika is early software offered as it is. We do not promise it will be available, error-free, or that anything on it is accurate. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from a deal made through it.

Nothing here removes rights you have under Zimbabwean law.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app.
